Solar:        very low
Geomagnetic:  Quiet to Unsettled 
A weak (13nT) impulse was observed in the IPS magnetometer data at
1214UT on 12 Apr.

   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values over the UT day.

13 Apr 
Solar:        very low
Geomagnetic:  Quiet to unsettled. Periods of activity were observed 
              at high latitudes. 

Frequencies:  
   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Depressions to 40%
      observed at Vanimo 06-07 and 14-15 UT. Depressions to
      30% at Niue 00-01, 06-07 and 20-21 UT.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Depressions to 40%
      03-06 UT.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Night spread F observed
      at Hobart.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values to 30% depressed.
      Enhancements to 40% at Scott Base 11-13 UT. Spread F
      observed.

14 Apr 
Solar:        very low
Geomagnetic:  Quiet

   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Depressed by 15% during local night.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.

15 Apr

Geomagnetic:  Quiet to Unsettled

      Enhanced by 35% over the UT day.

16 Apr

Geomagnetic:  Quiet to Active

      Mostly near predicted monthly values,
      Enhanced by 20% after local dawn.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Enhanced by 25% during local night.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Enhanced by 65% over the UT day.

17 Apr 
Solar:        very low
Geomagnetic:  Quiet 

Frequencies:  
   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Depressed by 20% during local day,
      Depressed by 30% during local night.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Depressed by 15% during local day,
      Near predicted monthly values during local night.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Enhanced by 20% during local night.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Enhanced by 60% over the UT day.

 
2. FORECAST (18 APRIL - 24 APRIL)
Solar: Solar activity is expected to be very low. Slight 
chance of moderate activity with returning region 989 
that produced produced a M-class flare on its previous 
rotation.

Geomagnetic: Active 22Apr to 24Apr due to expected 
recurrent coronal hole effects. Quiet to Unsettled 
on other days.

Frequencies: Briefly depressed after local dawn 22Apr to 
24Apr, depressed 15% on 23Apr. Otherwise MUFs near predicted 
monthly values.
