1. SUMMARY (03 AUGUST - 09 AUGUST)

Geomagnetic:  Quiet 
Frequencies:  
   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Enhanced by 15-20% during local day.
      Depressed by 20-30% during local night.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values during local day.
      Ionograms do not show many traces for local night
      however, when present are slightly depressed (10%).

04 Aug 
Solar:        very low
Geomagnetic:  Quiet 
Frequencies:  
   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Depressed by 10-15% during local day. 
      Near predicted monthly values during local night.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values during local day.
      Ionograms do not show many traces for local night
      however, when present are near predicted monthly
      values.

05 Aug 
Solar:        very low
Geomagnetic:  Quiet

   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day.
      Depressed by 15% during local night.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Depressed by 15% during local during local day.
      Near predicted monthly values during local night.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Mostly near predicted monthly values.
      Ionograms do not show many traces for local night
      however, when present are near predicted monthly
      values.

06 Aug

Geomagnetic:  Quiet to Active 
Frequencies:  
   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Enhanced by 15% during local night.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Enhanced by upto 35% with periods of minor to 
      significant degradations. 

07 Aug 
Solar:        very low
Geomagnetic:  Quiet to active in most regions. Isolated majro 
              storm periods observed at some high latitude locations. 
Frequencies:  
   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Enhanced by 15% during local night.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Enhanced by 40% during local night.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Isolated periods of enhancements and depressions
      observed with minor to significant degradations
      in HF conditions. 

08 Aug 
Solar:        very low
Geomagnetic:  Quiet to Unsettled 
Frequencies:  
   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Mostly near predicted monthly values,
      Depressed by 20% after local dawn.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Enhanced by 35% during local night.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Both enhancements and depressions recorded with minor to
      significant degradations for prolonged periods. 

09 Aug 
Solar:        very low
Geomagnetic:  Quiet 
Frequencies:  
   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Enhanced by 20% during local day,
      Enhanced by 15% during local night.
      Depressed by 20% after local dawn.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Depressed by 15% during local day,
      Near predicted monthly values during local night.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Periods of enhancements and depressions recorded with
      minor to significant degradations in HF conditions.
      

 
2. FORECAST (10 AUGUST - 16 AUGUST)
Solar: 
Very low. 

Geomagnetic:  
Quiet to active on 10 August, mostly unsettled with the possibility
of some active periods on 11 August.
Mostly quiet on other days.

Frequencies:  
Minor to mild depressions periods possible in Southern Aus/NZ
regions on 10 and 11 August.
MUFs near predicted monthly values on other days.
