A weak (27nT) impulse was observed in the IPS magnetometer data at
0435UT on 08 Dec.

      Near predicted monthly values during local day.
      Depressed by 20% during local night.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Depressed by 20% during local day.
      Depressed by 20% during local night.
      Depressed by 20% after local dawn.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Proton event in progress, increased absorption observed.

      Mostly near predicted monthly values.

0222UT on 13 Dec.
Frequencies:  
   Slightly above predicted monthly values.

14 Dec 
Solar:        High, with an X1.5 at 2215UT 
Geomagnetic:  Quiet to major Storm 
A weak (46nT) impulse was observed in the IPS magnetometer data at
1414UT on 14 Dec.
Frequencies:  
   Slightly below predicted monthly values.

2. FORECAST (15 DECEMBER - 21 DECEMBER)
Solar: 
High, becoming low as region 930 rotates off the visible disc.

Geomagnetic:  
Active to severe storm levels 15 and 17 Dec.
Unsettled to active 18 and 19 Dec.
Active on 20 and 21 Dec.

Frequencies:  
Depressed up to 50% 15-21 Dec.
