09 May 
Solar:        very low
Geomagnetic:  Quiet to Minor Storm 
              A weak (25nT) impulse was observed in the IPS 
	      magnetomter data at 0519UT on 09 May, and a weak 
	      (27nT) impulse was observed at 0731UT on 09 May.
Frequencies:  
   Equatorial PNG Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Depressed by 15% during local night.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      15% depressed.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base):
      15% depressed to near normal.
      Spread F observed.


10 May 
Solar:        very low
Geomagnetic:  Quiet to Minor Storm 
              A weak (14nT) impulse was observed in the IPS 
	      magnetomter data at 0253UT on 10 May, and a weak 
	      (39nT) impulse was observed at 0837UT on 10 May.
Frequencies:  
   Equatorial PNG Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Enhanced by 30% during local night.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Enhanced by 20% during local night.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      15% depressed to near predicted monthly values,
      Depressed by 25% after local dawn this morning.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base):
      15% depressed. Spread F observed.


11 May 
Solar:        very low
Geomagnetic:  Quiet to Active 
Frequencies:  
   Equatorial PNG Region:
      Enhanced by 20-35%.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Depressed by 15% during local night.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Depressed by 15% during local night.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base):
      Near predicted monthly values over the UT day.

Geomagnetic:  Unsettled to Active 
Frequencies:  
   Equatorial PNG Region:
      Depressed by 15% during local day,
      Depressed by 35% during local night.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Depressed by 15% during local night.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Depressed by 15% during local night.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base):
      Extended periods of disturbance observed over 
      the UT day.


15 May

Geomagnetic:  Quiet to Active 
Frequencies:  
   Equatorial PNG Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Enhanced by 25% during local night.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Depressed by 5-15% during local night.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Depressed by 15% during local night.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base):
      Extended periods of disturbance over the UT day.


 
2. FORECAST (16 MAY - 22 MAY)
Solar:        Very low to low

Geomagnetic:  Mostly unsettled with active intervals possible.

Frequencies:  Mildy depressed after local dawn on 19-22 May, 
otherwise MUFs near normal. SWFs possible.
