AUSTRALIAN REGION SUMMARY AND FORECAST
1. SUMMARY (16 SEPTEMBER - 22 SEPTEMBER)

   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Depressions to 30% at
      Niue 01, 02 and 09-15 UT and depressions to 50% at
      Vanimo 05-20 UT.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values to 30% depressed 03-10
      and 15-20 UT. No Townsville data.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values to 15% depressed.
      Enhancements to 45% observed at Canberra, Hobart and
      Sydney between about 12-20 UT. Night spread F observed
      at Hobart.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values to 30% depressed.

17 Sep   -2      Normal            
MUFS:
   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Near predicted monthly values at Vanimo with
      depressions to 45% 05-20 UT. Near predicted monthly
      values at Niue with depressions to 30% 00, 02-05 and
      17 UT.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Enhancements to 30% at
      Cocos Is. 04-09 UT. No Townsville data.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Enhancements to 60% at
      Canberra, Christchurch, Hobart and Sydney mostly
      around 12-20 UT. Blanketing sporadic E at Norfolk Is.
      02-03 UT and spread F at Hobart during night hours.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values.

MUFS:
   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Near predicted monthly values at Niue with some night
      spread F. Near predicted monthly values at Vanimo with
      depressions to 25% 05-15 UT.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values with depressions to 25%
      04-06 UT at Darwin and 07-11, 15-18 UT at Cocos Is. No
      data for Townsville.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Enhancements to 40%
      at Canberra, Christchurch, Hobart and Sydney mostly
      between 16-20 UT. Night spread F observed at Hobart.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values.

      about 12-20 UT.

      Near predicted monthly values. Depressions to 30%
      observed at Darwin 04-07 UT. No Townsville data.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Enhancements to 60% at
      times observed at Canberra, Christchurch, Hobart and
      Sydney mostly 12-20 UT. Depressions to 20% observed at
      Brisbane 00-06 UT and Norfolk Is. 07-14 UT.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values with enhancements to 30%
      at Casey and Scott Base mostly 08-22 UT.

   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Depressed by 30% during local day,
      Near predicted monthly values during local night.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Mostly near predicted monthly values,
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values over the UT day.

22 Sep   -9      Normal            
MUFS:
   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Depressed by 25% during local day,
      Depressed by 35% during local night.
      Depressed by 25% after local dawn.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Depressed by 30% during local day,
      Near predicted monthly values during local night.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values over the UT day.

Predicted Monthly T index for September:   0
2. FORECAST (23 SEPTEMBER - 29 SEPTEMBER) 
MUFS: Depressed MUFs of 10%-30% for low latitudes with 
near predicted monthly values for mid to high latitudes.  

Propagation conditions: Normal, no SWFs expected.

3. OUTLOOK (30 SEPTEMBER - 30 OCTOBER)
Degraded HF propagation conditions possible:
Possible disturbed conditions for high latitudes 
26Sep-27Sep, otherwise no signficant degraded periods 
expected.
