AUSTRALIAN REGION SUMMARY AND FORECAST
1. SUMMARY (04 OCTOBER - 10 OCTOBER)

   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Depressed by up to 40% 14-17 UT, near predicted
      monthly values at other times.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Depressed by 25% 01-06 UT, near predicted monthly
      values at other times.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Spread F observed
      between 09 and 19 UT.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values.

MUFS: Near predicted monthly values.

MUFS:
  Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
     Near predicted monthly values.

      Near predicted monthly values.

MUFS: Near predicted monthly values.

10 Oct    8      Normal            
MUFS: Near predicted monthly values.

Predicted monthly T index for October:  10
2. FORECAST (11 OCTOBER - 17 OCTOBER) 
MUFS: MUFs near predicted monthly values 11-14 October.
      Depressions to 30% likely on 15-17 October.
Propagation conditions: Normal but becoming poor to fair
                        on 15-17 October.
SWFs/SIDs: None.
T index: 10 on 11-14 October but decreasing later in the
	 week.

3. OUTLOOK (18 OCTOBER - 17 NOVEMBER)
Degraded HF propagation conditions possible:
24 Oct, 28 Oct, 11-12 Nov, 17 Nov.
