AUSTRALIAN REGION SUMMARY AND FORECAST
1. SUMMARY (29 NOVEMBER - 05 DECEMBER)

   Northern Australian Region:

      Absorption observed.

MUFS:
   Equatorial PNG Region and Northern Region:
      Near predicted monthly values, to 15% depressed,
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Depressed by 15-30% during local day,
      Near predicted monthly values during local night.
      Spread F local night hours.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base):
      15% depressed. Absorption observed early in UT day.

      Near predicted monthly values.

      Enhanced by 15% during local night.
   Northern Australian Region:

   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values.

      Enhanced by 15% over the UT day.
      Spread F observed.


03 Dec  156      Fair-normal       
MUFS:
   Equatorial PNG Region:
      Mostly near predicted monthly values,
   Northern Australian Region:
      Mostly near predicted monthly values,
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Mostly near predicted monthly values,
      becoming depressed 15-20% after local dawn at
      some sites.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base):
      15% depressed to near predicted monthly values,
      Occasional absorption observed.


04 Dec  132      Fair-normal       
MUFS:
   Equatorial PNG Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Enhanced by 20% during local night.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Mostly near predicted monthly values,
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Depressed 15-20% at Norfolk Island and Christchurch.
      Mostly near predicted monthly values at other sites,
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base):
      Near predicted monthly values over the UT day.
      Spread F and occassional absorption observed.


05 Dec  134      Fair-normal       
MUFS:
   Equatorial PNG Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day,
      Enhanced by 15% during local night.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Mostly near predicted monthly values,
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Depressed 15-20% early in UT day then Mostly near i
      predicted monthly values
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base):
      Mildly depressed to Near predicted monthly values.


Predicted Monthly T index for December: 130
2. FORECAST (06 DECEMBER - 12 DECEMBER) 
MUFS: depressions of 15-20% possible southern Aus/NZ region
during interval 8-10 Dec, then near to above normal
Propagation conditions: Fair 08-10 Dec, otherwise good. 
			SWFs possible later in week.
T index:  100 8-10 Dec  (soouthern region only)
          140-150 11-12 Dec

Degraded HF propagation conditions possible:
23-25 Dec
