2. FORECAST (23 APRIL - 23 MAY)
Disturbed Periods:
23 Apr, 12 May.
Best Quiet Periods:
24 Apr, 26 Apr, 28 Apr, 2-5 May, 9-10 May, 16-17 May.
3. FORECAST FOR HIGH RESOLUTION AEROMAGNETIC SURVEYS
Northern Australian Regions: NA
Central Australian Regions:
Disturbed Periods: 30 Apr-2 May, 13-15 May, 18-19 May.
Best Quiet Periods: 24-29 Apr, 3-12 May, 16-17 May.
Southern Australian Regions:

Best Quiet Periods: 24-29 Apr, 3-12 May, 16-17 May.
Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum of
20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be well
correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic survey
flight-line data.
PLEASE NOTE:
Geomagnetic activity can frequently be determined by short timescale
solar events that cannot be forecast a week in advance, particularly
at solar maximum.
