NOTE: Indices may have been generated from data obtained in
cooperation with the following organisations: Geoscience Australia,
University of Newcastle Space Physics Group, Australian Government
Antarctic Division and Space Environment Research Center, Japan.

Quiet to Unsettled conditions observed over the last week.
Mostly Quiet conditions are expected for the forecast week with possible
Unsettled to Active periods for 02Dec-04Dec due to the combined effects
of a CME from a disappearing filament on 29Nov and a CME that originated
from the north east quadrant on 30Nov. Possible Unsettled conditions
for 08Dec due to recurrent coronal hole effects.

2. FORECAST (02 DECEMBER - 01 JANUARY)
Disturbed Periods:
No strong recurrent patterns, however mild activity may be experienced on:
 3 Dec to 4 Dec, 8 Dec to 10 Dec, 20 Dec, 24 Dec.

Best Quiet Periods:
2 Dec, 5 Dec to 7 Dec, 11 Dec to 19 Dec, 21 Dec to 23 Dec, 25 Dec to
28 Dec.

3. FORECAST FOR HIGH RESOLUTION AEROMAGNETIC SURVEYS

Northern Australian Regions: Quiet

Central Australian Regions: Quiet

Southern Australian Regions: Quiet-Mildly Disturbed on 02Dec-04Dec,08Dec.

 Disturbed Periods: None.
Best Quiet Periods: 2 Dec to 11 Dec.

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum of
20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be well
correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic survey
flight-line data.

PLEASE NOTE:
Geomagnetic activity can frequently be determined by short timescale
solar events that cannot be forecast a week in advance, particularly
at solar maximum.
