isolated minor storm period on 5 January.

Disturbed Periods: 
Active to minor storm 13 to 14 January, 1 February, 9 February

Best Quiet Periods: 
10 to 12, 18 to 31 January, 6 to 8 February

3. FORECAST FOR HIGH RESOLUTION AEROMAGNETIC SURVEYS

Northern Australian Regions: NA

Central Australian Regions:
 Disturbed Periods: None.
 Best Quiet Periods: 10 Jan to 12 Jan,  20 Jan to 5 Feb.

Southern Australian Regions:
 Disturbed Periods:  15 Jan.
 Best Quiet Periods: 10 Jan to 12 Jan,  19 Jan to 5 Feb.

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations 
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum of 
20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be well 
correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic survey 
flight-line data.
