*estimated from real time data

NOTE: Indices may have been generated from data obtained in
cooperation with the following organisations: Geoscience Australia,
University of Newcastle Space Physics Group, Australian Government
Antarctic Division and Space Environment Research Center, Japan.

Quiet to Unsettled conditions expected for the forecast period. Chance
of Active conditions on 22Apr-23Apr due to recurrent coronal hole
activity.

2. FORECAST (17 APRIL - 17 MAY)
Disturbed Periods:
Active 22 Apr to 24 Apr, Active on 2 May.

Best Quiet Periods:
18 Apr to 21 Apr, 27 Apr to 30 Apr, 7 May to 8 May, 10 May to 13 May.

3. FORECAST FOR HIGH RESOLUTION AEROMAGNETIC SURVEYS

Northern Australian Regions: NA

Central Australian Regions:
 Disturbed Periods: None.
Best Quiet Periods: 20 Apr to 21 Apr, 26 Apr to 30 Apr, 8 May to 10 May.

Southern Australian Regions:

Best Quiet Periods: 18 Apr to 20 Apr, 26 Apr to 30 Apr, 8 May to 10 May.

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum of
20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be well
correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic survey
flight-line data.
