The geomagnetic activity remained at quiet levels during this period
with some unsettled conditions conditions on 14 and 15 September.

NOTE: Indices may have been generated from data obtained in
cooperation with the following organisations: Geoscience Australia,
University of Newcastle Space Physics Group, Australian Government

2. FORECAST (20 SEPTEMBER - 20 OCTOBER)
Disturbed Periods:
Active on 22 September, 29 September and 03 October.

Best Quiet Periods:
20 September, 25 to 27 September, 01 October, 05 to 16 October.

3. FORECAST FOR HIGH RESOLUTION AEROMAGNETIC SURVEYS

Northern Australian Regions: NA

Central Australian Regions:
 Disturbed Periods: None.
Best Quiet Periods: 20 Sep to 21 Sep, 24 Sep to 27 Sep, 6 Oct to 16 Oct.

Southern Australian Regions:

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum of
20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be well
correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic survey
flight-line data.
