cooperation with the following organisations: Geoscience Australia,
University of Newcastle Space Physics Group, Australian Government
Antarctic Division and Space Environment Research Center, Japan.

The active levels observed 28-30 April due to a coronal hole
solar wind stream. Mostly quiet to unsettled on other days.

2. FORECAST (03 MAY - 02 JUNE)
Disturbed Periods: 6-10 & 24-27 May.

Best Quiet Periods: 11-23 May.

3. FORECAST FOR HIGH RESOLUTION AEROMAGNETIC SURVEYS

Northern Australian Regions: NA

Central Australian Regions:
 Disturbed Periods: 6-10 & 23-26 May.
Best Quiet Periods: 11-19 May, 28-29 May.

Southern Australian Regions:
 Disturbed Periods: 6-10 & 25-26 May.
Best Quiet Periods: 3-5 May, 11-21 May, 28-29 May.

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum of
20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be well
correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic survey
flight-line data.
