Geomagnetic activity remained at quiet levels for most part
of this period except for 20 to 22 October when the activity
level went upto active levels due to the effect of a coronal
hole.

2. FORECAST (26 OCTOBER - 25 NOVEMBER)
Disturbed Periods:
Active to minor storm on 28 and 29 Oct, active on 14, 15, 21 and
25 Nov.

Best Quiet Periods:
  26 Oct, 29 Oct to 8 Nov, 12 Nov to 15 Nov, 19 Nov to 21 Nov.

3. FORECAST FOR HIGH RESOLUTION AEROMAGNETIC SURVEYS

Northern Australian Regions:
 Disturbed Periods: None.
Best Quiet Periods: 26 Oct to 21 Nov.

Central Australian Regions:
 Disturbed Periods: None.
Best Quiet Periods: 26 Oct to 2 Nov, 6 Nov to 8 Nov, 12 Nov to 15 Nov,

Southern Australian Regions:
 Disturbed Periods: None.
Best Quiet Periods: 26 Oct to 3 Nov, 6 Nov to 8 Nov, 12 Nov to 15 Nov.

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum of
20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be well
correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic survey
flight-line data.
