16 May 3554 3421 23 A weak (21nT) impulse was observed in
the IPS magnetometer data at 1007UT on 16 May.

A CME associated to an M8 flare raised the geomagnetic
activity to severe storm level on 15 May and minor storm
on 16 May. Active periods were observed on 13 May. Otherwise
the geomagnetic activity remained mostly at quiet to
unsettled levels during this period.
2. FORECAST (19 MAY - 18 JUNE)
Disturbed Periods: 19, 20 and 28 May; 05 and 13 June.
Best Quiet Periods: 21 May, 23 to 25 May, 29 May to 02 June
06 to 07 June, 10 June, 15 to 17 June.
