Coronal mass ejection induced activity observed
17-19 Jan. The solar region that produced this
activity has around 3 days to go before rotating
off the solar disk. Further flare and coronal
mass ejection events possible. Geoeffectiveness of
any further events may be reduced as the region 
location approaches the western limb of the Sun 
(less direct). A glancing blow from a coronal mass 
ejection is expected to arrive at the Earth second 
half of the UT day 21 Jan.
