SUBJ: IPS WEEKLY GEOPHYSICAL REPORT 
ISSUED ON 15 DECEMBER 2005, BY IPS RADIO AND SPACE SERVICES,
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE

1. SUMMARY (06 DECEMBER - 14 DECEMBER)
K indices are in UT (0-24). For conversion to local time:
AEST = UT + 10 hours; ACST = UT + 9.5 hours; AWST = UT + 8 hours

Geomagnetic activity remained at mostly quiet levels 
during the first 3 days of the period. Then the effect 
of a coronal hole kept the geomagnetic activity enhanced 
at unsettled to active level from 09 to 12 December. 
The activity declined gradually during then next few days.

2. FORECAST (15 DECEMBER - 14 JANUARY)
Disturbed Periods: 
27 and 28 December. 

Best Quiet Periods: 
 15 Dec to 21 Dec,  24 Dec to 26 Dec, 31 Dec to 05 Jan, 
 08 Jan to 15 Jan.
