SUBJ: IPS WEEKLY GEOPHYSICAL REPORT 
ISSUED ON 18 NOVEMBER 2004, BY IPS RADIO AND SPACE SERVICES,
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE

1. SUMMARY (09 NOVEMBER - 17 NOVEMBER)
K indices are in UT (0-24). For conversion to local time:

magnetometer data at 0931UT on 09 Nov, and a moderate (58nT) impulse was
observed at 1849UT on 09 Nov.

 11 Nov   2333 2335   17    A weak (15nT) impulse was observed in the IPS
magnetometer data at 1712UT on 11 Nov.

 16 Nov   1223 3323   10    A weak (21nT) impulse was observed in the IPS
magnetometer data at 1446UT on 16 Nov.

Severe storm activity observed from 8 to 10 Nov, following numerous
coronal mass ejection events. No significant activity followed the
sudden impulse on 16 Nov. The region that produced this activity
was in decline as it rotated off the solar disk.
