*estimated from real time data
Geomagnetic conditions were quiet at the beginning of the week.
Magnetic activity increased to unsettled to active levels
mid-week under the influence of a recurrent coronal hole wind
stream. IMF Bz polarity remained mostly neutral, limiting
activity to isolated active periods at low to mid latitudes,
with isolated storm intervals at high latitudes. At the time of
report issue, solar wind parameters, and anticipated
geomagnetic activity, are in gradual decline.
2. FORECAST (04 MARCH - 03 APRIL)
Disturbed Periods:
09-12 Mar, 26-30 Mar.
Best Quiet Periods:
14-19 Mar.
PLEASE NOTE:
At this time of the solar cycle, space weather conditions
are frequently determined by short timescale events, not
able to be forecasted a week in advance.
