*estimated from real time data

Geomagnetic activity has been elevated at unsettled to minor storm
levels most of the week. The major cause has been recurrent coronal
holes producing elevated solar wind parameters. At present the
earth is under the influence of a high speed wind stream from a large
south solar hemisphere coronal hole with unsettled to active
conditions expected for several more days. Mid week some isolated
disturbance was produced by solar wind shocks resulting from X and
M-class flare activity produced by solar region 365. This region
has now rotated beyond the west solar limb.

B.
2. FORECAST (05 JUNE - 05 JULY)
Disturbed Periods: 5-9 Jun, 23Jun-03Jul.

Best Quiet Periods: 10-15 Jun, 20-21 Jun.

PLEASE NOTE:
At this time of the solar cycle, space weather conditions
are frequently determined by short timescale events, not
able to be forecasted a week in advance.
