*estimated from real time data

The geomagnetic activity remained mostly 'quiet' during the
first two days of the period and then increased to 'unsettled
to active' level and remained at this level until 31 March,
2003. Minor storm periods of a few hours were also observed
on 31 March. This rise in geomagnetic activity was due to a
coronal hole activity. Due to a decline in the coronal hole
activity since 01 April, the geomagnetic activity has been
mostly showing a gradual decline. However, a slight rise in
geomagnetic activity was observed on 02 April for some time.

2. FORECAST (03 APRIL - 03 MAY)
Disturbed Periods: 3, 4, 9-18, 23-30 April

Best Quiet Periods: 7, 20-22 April

PLEASE NOTE:
At this time of the solar cycle, space weather conditions
are frequently determined by short timescale events, not
able to be forecasted a week in advance.
