Solar activity on UT day 31-Jan is expected to be at R0-R1 levels. S0
solar radiation conditions are expected. The solar wind speed is
expected to be moderate to strong. G0-G1 geomagnetic conditions, with
a chance of G2 are expected due to an anticipated glancing CME impact.
HF radio communication conditions are expected to be mostly normal,
with degradations at high latitudes possible late in the day. Maximum
usable frequencies are expected to be near predicted monthly values to
15% enhanced, with mild depressions in the southern Australian region
possible late in the day. Isolated shortwave fadeouts are possible.
