Solar activity on UT day 22-Jan is expected to be at R0-R1 levels. The
solar wind speed is expected to be moderate to strong. G1-G2
geomagnetic conditions are expected late in the UT-day. HF radio
communication conditions are expected to be mostly normal. Maximum
usable frequencies (MUFs) are expected to be near predicted monthly
values to 15% enhanced. A partial halo CME observed on 20-Jan is
expected to impact late on 22-Jan causing geomagnetic activity at
G1-G2 levels. A further CME observed on 21-Jan is expected to impact
on 23-Jan, causing geomagnetic activity at G1-G2 levels.
