Solar activity on UT day 12-Jan is expected to be at R0-R1 levels. The
solar wind speed is expected to be moderate. G0 geomagnetic conditions
are expected. HF radio communication conditions are expected to be
mostly normal. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) in the Australian
region are expected to be near predicted monthly values to 15%
enhanced. Periods of sporadic E are likely in the south west of the
Australian region. Shortwave fadeouts are possible.
