Solar activity on UT day 8-Jan is expected to be at R0-R1 levels, with
a chance of R2. The solar wind speed is expected to be moderate. G0
geomagnetic conditions are expected. HF radio communication conditions
are expected to be mostly normal. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) in
the Australian region are expected to be near predicted monthly values
to 15% enhanced. Sporadic E is likely across the Australian region,
with stronger occurrences in the southern and eastern Australian
regions. Shortwave fadeouts are possible.
