On UT day 22-Sep, solar activity is expected to be R1-R2 with a chance
for an isolated R3 flare event. There is an increased chance of strong
solar flare activity for today. The solar wind speed is expected to be
light to moderate, with an increasing trend due to a small coronal
hole. G0, with the chance of G1 geomagnetic conditions are expected.
HF radio propagation conditions are expected to be fair to normal,
with mildly degraded conditions during local night hours for the
southern Australian region. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) for HF
radio are expected to be near predicted monthly values. Shortwave
fadeouts are probable.
