Solar activity on UT day 11-Nov is expected to be at R0-R1 levels. The
solar wind speed is expected to be initially moderate, then increasing
to strong late in the UT day due to the anticipated arrival of a
recent CME. Geomagnetic activity is expected to be initially at G0 on
11-Nov then increasing to G1-G2 levels from late 11-Nov to 12-Nov,
with a slight chance of G3 conditions. The recent minor enhancement in
the 10 MeV solar proton flux has now declined. HF radio communication
conditions are expected to be become degraded over 11-12 Nov due to
geomagnetic activity. Ionospheric maximum usable frequencies (MUFs)
for the southern Australian region are expected to become depressed
15-30% on 12-Nov. Isolated minor shortwave fadeouts are possible.
