Solar activity on UT day 9-May is expected to be at the R1 level, with
a chance of R2. S1 conditions are expected to persist for the first
part of the UT day. The solar wind is expected to be moderate to
strong. G0 geomagnetic conditions are expected. Mostly normal HF
communication conditions are expected. Maximum usable frequencies
(MUFs) are expected to be near predicted values. Isolated shortwave
fadeouts are possible. A CME first observed on 7-May is expected to
impact early on 10-May, with forecast geomagnetic conditions of G2,
with a chance of G3.
