Solar activity on UT day 17-Jul is expected to be at the R1 level,
with a chance of R2. The solar wind speed is expected to be moderate.
G1 geomagnetic conditions are expected, with a chance of G2 due to the
arrival of a CME first observed on 14-Jul. S1 solar proton conditions
are possible on 17-Jul. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) are expected
to be near predicted monthly values to 15% enhanced. HF communication
conditions are expected to be mostly normal during local day, with
mildly degraded conditions possible during local night hours.
Shortwave fadeouts are possible.
