Solar activity on UT day 02-Jan is expected to be at the R0 level as
most solar regions are either stable or decaying. G0 geomagnetic
conditions are expected. The solar wind speed is expected to be
moderate declining to light as recent coronal hole wind stream effects
continue to decline. Another coronal hole is expected to increase
solar wind speed from late 04-Jan. Australian region maximum usable
frequencies are expected to be near predicted monthly values. Degraded
HF conditions may be experienced 04-05 Jan local night hours for the
southern Australian region.
