Solar activity on UT day 28-Dec is expected to be at the R0 level,
with a chance of R1. The solar wind speed is expected to be moderate.
G0-G1 geomagnetic conditions are expected due to a combination of
impacts from CMEs first observed on 24-Dec. HF radio communication
conditions are expected to be mostly normal, with a chance of mild
degradations at high latitudes. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) in
the Australian region are expected to be near predicted monthly values
to 15% enhanced, with a chance of depressed conditions in the southern
Australian region. Isolated minor shortwave fadeouts are possible.
