Solar activity on UT day 1-Aug is expected to be at the R1 level, with
a chance of R2. The solar wind speed is expected to be moderate to
strong. G1-G2 geomagnetic conditions are expected, due to an
anticipated CME impact. S0 solar radiation storm conditions are
expected. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) are expected to be near
predicted monthly values to 15% depressed, particularly later in the
day and in the southern Australian region. HF radio communication
conditions are expected to be mildly degraded, particularly later in
the day and at high latitudes. Isolated shortwave fadeouts are
possible.
