rwc rwc at ips.gov.au
Fri Mar 25 10:09:12 EST 2022

Low to moderate solar flare activity is expected for today, UT day 25
Mar, with a chance of more C-class flares and a remote chance of
M-class flares. The earth is currently under the influence of mildly
enhanced solar wind speed in response to an equatorial coronal hole.
The solar wind speed is expected to gradually decline towards
background level today as the coronal hole effect wanes. Geomagnetic
conditions are expected to be mostly quiet, with a chance of isolated
unsettled to active conditions. High-frequency radio communications
are expected to be normal. Chance of shortwave fadeouts.
