Mon Jun 13 17:30:48 EST 2022

A long duration solar flare ASWAS R1 class (M3.4) was observed on 13
June 2022 with flare maximum at 0407UT. A shortwave fadeout was
observed in the Australian region in association with this flare,
impacting lower frequencies in the Australian region due to seasonal
factors. The solar region that produced this flare is currently
located in the northeast solar quadrant, a location that typically
reduces the geoeffectiveness of any associated coronal mass ejection.
