Solar activity on UT day 31-Dec is expected to be at the R1 level. G0
geomagnetic conditions are expected. The solar wind speed is expected
to be moderate due to a coronal hole wind stream. Australian region
maximum usable frequencies are expected to be depressed 10 to 20% for
southern Australian region and near predicted monthly values for the
northern Australian region, following mild overnight geomagnetic
activity induced by the coronal hole wind stream. Shortwave fadeouts
are possible.
