[ips-sf] SWS Summary Forecast for 01 October - issued 2329UT/30-Sep-2021

Solar activity is likely to be low on UT day 01 October with a small
(10%) chance of moderate activity (M flares). The solar wind speed is
strong since the arrival of the 28 September CME in the second half of
30 September. The solar wind speed is likely to be strong in the first
half of 01 October then begin to decline to moderate speeds.
Geomagnetic conditions are likely to be quiet to active with the
chance of a minor storm period in the first half of 01 October.
Geomagnetic activity is likely to subside in the second half of the
day. Mostly normal HF conditions are expected although there may be
some mild MUF depressions at times. There is a small chance of
short-wave fadeouts (radio blackouts).
