Solar activity is expected to be low to moderate on UT day 30 August
because there is a chance for more M-class flares due to the flaring
potential of AR2860. The solar wind speed is expected to remain near
mildly elevated levels today. Global geomagnetic conditions are
expected to be mostly quiet to unsettled, with a possibility of
isolated active to minor storm periods. MUFs in the Australian region
are expected to be mildly depressed to near predicted monthly values.
Short-wave fadeouts are possible today
