Solar activity is expected to be very low for UT day 18 April, with a
chance of C-class flares. The earth is currently under the influence
of moderately elevated solar wind speed associated with a coronal
hole. Similar solar wind conditions are expected for today.
Geomagnetic conditions in the Australian region are expected to be
mostly unsettled to active with a chance of isolated minor storm
periods. Normal to moderately degraded HF propagation conditions are
predicted with no short wave fadeouts. Auroral displays may be
observed in Tasmania.
