Thu Oct 1 09:34:25 EST 2020

Very low solar flare activity is expected for today, UT day 01
October. The Earth is currently under the influence of strong solar
wind speed between 550 to 560 km/s, associated with a large Northern
Polar coronal hole. The solar wind speed has been decreasing and is
expected to continue to decrease today as the coronal hole influence
wanes. Global geomagnetic conditions are expected to be at quiet to
unsettled levels with a chance of isolated active periods. Normal to
fair HF propagation conditions are expected, with MUFs expected to be
mostly near predicted monthly values, with some periods of minor MUF
depressions due to the recent disturbed geomagnetic conditions.
