Very Low solar activity is expected today, 8 January. Solar wind speed
is currently light but may increase to Moderate levels today, 08
January due to the influence of high speed solar wind stream
associated with an weak coronal hole. Quiet to Unsettled geomagnetic
conditions with a chance of an isolated Active period if the solar
wind speeds become enhanced. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) are
expected to be between mildly depressed to near predicted monthly
values.
