Very Low solar activity is expected for today, UT day 20 May. The
solar wind speed surrounding the Earth is expected to increase from
its current background level to weakly elevated level in response to
approaching patchy equatorial coronal hole effect. The geomagnetic
activity in the Australian region is expected to be mostly at Quiet to
Unsettled levels and at times may even reach active levels, today.
High-frequency radio communication users are advised to use near
predicted monthly frequencies over the Australian region and below the
monthly predicted levels over mid to high latitude regions in the
Northern hemisphere.
