[ips-sf] SWS Summary Forecast for 06 May - issued 2337UT/05-May-2019

rwc rwc at ips.gov.au
Mon May 6 09:37:24 EST 2019

Solar activity is predicted to be very low to low for UT day 6 May,
with a chance of C-class flares. The solar wind speed is currently at
light levels but is expected to become moderately enhanced later in
the UT day due to a small recurrent equatorial coronal hole.
Geomagnetic activity is currently quiet but is expected to increase to
quiet to unsettled levels, with isolated active periods, if the solar
wind becomes enhanced. Mostly normal HF conditions and near predicted
monthly MUFs are expected.
