Wed Jan 9 10:25:44 EST 2019

Very low solar activity is expected for today, UT day 9 January. Earth
is currently under the influence of weakly enhanced solar wind speeds
associated with a waning coronal hole. Solar wind are expected to
reach its nominal levels latter today. Geomagnetic activity in the
Australian region is expected to be mostly quiet today. High-frequency
radio communication users are advised to use predicted monthly
frequencies or slightly lower frequencies because mild ionospheric
depressions are possible due to relatively low levels of ionising
radiation from the Sun.
