Very Low solar activity is expected for today, 10 September. The solar
wind speed is currently light but is expected to start increasing
towards Strong levels late today, 10 September in response to CIR and
subsequent HSS associated with a recurrent positive polarity coronal
hole. Geomagnetic activity in the Australian region may reach Active
levels today, 10 September with possible Minor Storm levels should
continued sustained southward Bz eventuate. Possible aurora will be
visible at high latitudes such as Tasmania. High-frequency radio
communication users are advised to use near predicted monthly
frequencies today, 10 September.
