Very low solar activity is expected for today, UT day 5 October. The
earth is currently under the influence of mildly elevated solar winds
emanating from a small equatorial coronal hole. The coronal hole
effects are expected to wane today. Geomagnetic activity in the
Australian region is expected to be mainly at quiet levels and
occasionally may reach unsettled levels. High-frequency radio
communication users are advised to use near predicted monthly
frequencies, today.
