Very low solar activity is expected for today, UT day 3 October. The
solar winds are expected to be moderate but may become enhanced,
either later in the UT day 3 October or on 4 October, due to the
expected arrival of a high speed stream from a recurrent coronal hole.
Geomagnetic activity in the Australian region is expected to be mainly
at quiet to unsettled levels, but may reach active levels if the solar
winds become enhanced. High-frequency radio communication users are
advised to use near predicted monthly frequencies, though minor MUF
depressions may occur.
