[ips-sf] SWS Summary Forecast for 03 November - issued 2336UT/02-Nov-2018 [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

Sat Nov 3 10:36:47 EST 2018

Very low solar activity is expected for the next UT day, 3 November.
The solar wind is expected to be mostly near its nominal levels at the
beginning of the UT day, then the speed will encrease because of the
arrival of high speed solar wind streams associated with a large
recurrent trans-equatorial coronal hole. This coronal hole produced
solar winds reaching 650 km/s at the location of STEREO-A. Similar
speeds are expected at Earth. Geomagnetic activity in the Australian
region is expected to vary from quiet to minor storm levels.
High-frequency radio communication users are advised to use near
predicted monthly frequencies.
