Very low solar activity is expected for today, 9 Jan. The solar wind
speed is moderate to strong due to the arrival of high speed winds
from a recurrent coronal hole. The geomagnetic activity is expected to
be at quiet to unsettled levels, with possible active periods.
High-frequency radio communication users are advised to use slightly
lower than the monthly predicted frequencies.
