[ips-sf] SWS Summary Forecast for 11 December - issued 2337UT/10-Dec-2018 [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

Tue Dec 11 10:37:40 EST 2018

For UT day 11 December, solar activity is expected to remain very low.
The solar wind speed is currently strong but declining due to the
waning influence of a large recurrent coronal hole. Geomagnetic
activity is expected to be mostly at quiet to unsettled levels;
however, there is a chance for isolated active periods because the
solar wind speed is still high. MUF depressions of 15 to 20% as
compared to the monthly predicted levels are expected due to low
levels of ionising radiation from the Sun.
