Fri Dec 7 10:29:09 EST 2018

For the UT day 7 December, solar activity is expected to stay very
low. The solar wind speed is expected to increase from its nominal
levels up to 550-600 km/s due to arrival of high-speed solar wind
streams associated with a recurrent coronal hole. Geomagnetic activity
is expected to be at quiet to active levels; the increase is due to
coronal hole effects. MUF depressions of 15 to 25% are expected due to
low levels of ionising radiation from the Sun.
